We are calling for Expressions of Interest from Mackay Regional Council's Regional Arts Development Fund recipients to participate in our 2025 RADF Exhibition and Launch Event.
Successful applicants from Rounds 1 through to 3 of the 2023/2024 Funding Program and Round 1 of the 2024/2025 Funding Program are invited to submit works for inclusion in the upcoming showcase exhibition.
The 2025 RADF Showcase exhibition will be open for viewing from Friday the 21st of February until Friday the 14th March. The launch event will be held on Friday 21st of February from 5.00pm to 7.30pm, which you are invited to attend.
Works will not be for sale during the exhibition, however you are welcome to display your details for visitors who wish to contact you about your work.
You can submit up to four works. The number of participants and Arts Development officers' curatorial choices will determine final works presented. Works can be in any medium and/or arts practice but must be resolved appropriately, ready for display. For one of the works we would like you to consider including at least one image (photographic documentation) that showcases the project's process or outcome/s.
You will be contacted by Friday 31st of January 2025 to confirm the details of your submission, with selected works to be delivered to the Jubilee Community Centre, Civic Precinct, on Monday the 17th and Tuesday the 18th of February in preparation for installation on the 19th and 20th February 2025.
